To collect data reflecting the efficacy and safety of aflibercept with and without photodynamic therapy rescue treatment in subjects diagnosed with the polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy subtype of wet age-related macular degeneration. To explore whether intravitreally administered aflibercept monotherapy is non-inferior to that of aflibercept plus photodynamic therapy (as indicated) based upon best-corrected visual acuity in subjects diagnosed with the polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy subtype of age-related macular degeneration.
